I don’t exercise. If God wanted me to bend over, he’d have put diamonds on the floor.

~ Joan Rivers

Happy Sunday!!

Today was a rest day for the FF household.  Future Hubby’s leg is still bothering him a bit and he has to go back to work tomorrow, so we just took a lazy day.

How was your weekend?  I hope it was a good one.

I wanted to share with you some things that I’ve learned over the last year of being a blogger in the health/fitness/food world:

1.  Real women eat more than 1200 calories per day.

2.  Real women eat fat.

3.  Real women lift weights.

4.  Real women can walk and run for miles.

I especially love the first one.  I love that women who are strong and active fuel their bodies properly.

I also love the second one.  I am so glad that we are realizing that our ancestors had it right.

You are all such great role models.  I hope that you know that.

And on a more humorous note (although it’s a bit past due on some things):

You might be a food/health blogger if:

1.  You know what almond butter tastes like.

2. You put almond butter on everything.

3.  You know that Hugh Jass is a salad, not a person.

4.  You eat fries made of every other vegetable but regular potatoes.

5.  You know all the brands of Greek yogurt and you have strong opinions on which one is the best.

6.  You go in to debt for great produce.

7.  You eschew chain restaurants for independents.

8.   You would give your first born for a Vita-Mix.

9.  You know what a Vita-Mix is.

10.  You know what  Kombucha and Kabocha are.

11.  You put hot sauce on just about everything.

12.  You know at least two ways to replace eggs in recipes.

Okay, on to my eats for today:

Your post, and the title, cracked me up and you know, since you visit my blog, how much I needed that! Thanks.

I’m kind of getting off the diet food (low-fat, no-fat, sugar-free) bandwagon and back on to regular food. I don’t think the other way is sustainable and it certainly isn’t on my budget! I’d rather have a half cup of really decadent whatever than a whole cup of not-so-great alternative.

Just love it here at your cyber place.

You know how Gena did her post recently on how she loves food? I think I should do that about fat. :D Because it’s totally true! Real women do those things!

Also the second list cracked my shit up, especially the last one on egg replacements! Admittedly though I don’t eat almond butter. Hee!

    • fattiefatterton

Okay, now I’m curious – why no almond butter?

Great table if we follow this one that’d be so easy for us to live healthy and active all the time,  Sometimes table maker wouldn’t post the complete table and there must be something missing , And that table wouldn’t work for anybody to stay fit and the complete fitness But this table I think could work completely, And has proper stuff.
